Heart Warmer: An Elegant Stitch Sampler Cowl

** 10% off all purchases during classes & workshops **

3 sessions // 2 hours
Date: Thursday, April 2, 16 and 30, 2020
Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Level: Skill Level: All skill levels
Instructor: Hadley Mendoza Miklos

Treat yourself to luxury! Together we will work through the bands of texture in this show-stopping cowl. This pattern is truly a treasure and is the perfect time to use a few skeins of something special. We love skill-building classes and this cowl’s got it all: lace, cables, twisted stitches, bobbles, and tons of squooshy texture. In order to maximize class time, students are encouraged to start the ribbing of the cowl at home and come ready to begin the patterned sections.

  • Meets 3 sessions, 2 hours each session
  • Skill level: adventurous beginner and beyond (students should be comfortable knitting, purling, working in the round, and reading patterns)
  • Topics taught in class: basic lace, basic cables, bobbles, texture stitches

Materials: yarn and needles to meet gauge (see pattern for information), pattern, stitch markers, cable needle, post it notes or highlighter tape, tapestry needle to weave in ends

Yarn:
We would appreciate if yarn used for our classes is not brought from a different shop. (This is not a "rule" - just a preference.) We have a range of weights of yarn to choose from. Come early to shop!
