Colorwork tops for San Diego winters! Let’s go! We’ve had lots of interest in sweaters and colorwork lately and this top fits the bill perfectly. Wear it alone or layer over a long sleeve shirt and you are sure to be fashionable and cozy all winter long. We can’t wait to see you for this fun and fast-paced class!As with any sized garment,gauge is important!

Students must create swatch(es) prior to class and come prepared to cast on with the yarn and needles necessary to meet gauge.Students should be proficient in the basics of knitting (comfortable knitting, purling, working in the round, and following written directions). 

  • Meets for 3 sessions, 2 hours each session

  • Topics taught in class: basic sweater construction, basic colorwork, finishing and care

  • Materials: yarn and needles to meet gauge (see pattern for information), pattern, stitch markers, darning needle, waste yarn
