Class: Altheda Colorwork Sweater

We had so much fun seeing everyone’s beautiful creations in our Soldotna Crop colorwork class we’re back for another round! Whether you missed out on that class, or will be wearing your Soldotna to this one, join us for another great class oooohing and aaaaahing over color combinations, sharing techniques, and mastering those floats! Jump in and finish your perfect Fall/Winter wardrobe star! As with any sized garment, gauge is important! Teacher is Hadley Mendoza Miklos.

Students must create swatch(es) prior to class and come prepared to cast on with yarn and needles necessary to meet gauge. Students should be proficient in the basics of knitting (comfortable knitting, purling, working in the round, and following written directions) before taking this class. If you have not taken a sweater class at Apricot
before, we strongly encourage you to take the August 27 Sweater Prep Workshop.

We ask that supplies needed for the class are purchased from our shop. As a thank you for taking a class with us we offer 10% off class supplies and on the day of class.

• Meets for 3 sessions, 2 hours each session
• Supplies and pattern are not included in class fee
• Skill level: adventurous beginner and beyond
• Topics taught in class: colorwork, basic sweater construction, finishing and care
• Materials: yarn and needles to meet gauge (see pattern for size information), stitch markers, darning needle, row counter or method for tracking rows, waste yarn
