Class: Bynx Hat: Learn to Cable

We’ll be tackling cables in this next installation of our skill-building series with the Brynx Hat by Haley Quinn. This class is excellent for knitters who are confident with the basics and ready to expand their cable and chart-reading knowledge before diving into a larger project.

Before taking the class, students should be comfortable knitting, purling, following a pattern, and knitting in the round.

In order to maximize class time, please cast on and knit your ribbing prior to class.

Materials needed: 

• DK weight yarn, such as Baah Yarn Sonoma or Kelbourne Woolens Scout
• needles US 6 and US 7 or to meet gauge (see pattern for information),
• clasping stitch markers,
• cable needle, and
• a row counter or method to track rows with you to class.
