Homestead Shawl Pattern

Designed by Melody Hoffmann with a pure, un-dyed wool in mind. She takes simple garter panels and pairs them with eyelet rows and braids to add a bit of challenge. Take this shawl as a meditative practice. The garter is a zen moment with the decorative rows as time for active thinking. With a cup of tea, this could be your morning or evening ritual each day while working on the shawl.
This item is one printed paper pattern with a download code.
Requires US 7, 40" circular needles.
Requires 930 yds of Worsted weight yarn.
We recommend Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed, Juniper Moon Farm Santa Cruz or Malabrigo Rios for wool choices. This shawl also works up nicely in a DK weight cotton blend such as Sandnes Garn Duo or Noro Kakigori for a lighter, cooler shawl.
