Apricot Yarn & Supply

Workshop: Gauge and Fiber, selecting the right yarn.

Class date: March 20, 2021, 11am -1pm, PST.

This is a virtual class held online via Zoom.

With so many different yarn and fiber choices on the market, sometimes the options can get overwhelming. In this approachable and informational workshop Hadley helps demystify yarn selection for you, by discussing different types of fibers and how they can best work for your project.

Great for beginners, this workshop will help students understand gauge, how to read a ball band/yarn label, and what to consider when substituting yarn for a project. Bring questions and even yarn from your stash (within reason) and together we can discuss its properties.

Key details:

  • 2 hour virtual workshop
  • meeting will be held by zoom
  • a zoom invite and pdfs will be sent by email to each student
