Making a Traditional Heel Sock Class

This hands-on and action-packed workshop is perfect for students who have already taken our magic loop afterthought heel sock class, or any knitters who know their way around a pattern and would like some help learning to work a traditional sock heel with heel flap and gusset. In this two-hour session students will knit a traditional sock heel from start to finish.

Please come prepared with your sock already on the needles and knit
through the cuff and leg (see pattern); class will begin with the heel flap (page 2 of pattern).

Materials:

• yarn and needles to meet gauge (see pattern for information), pattern, stitch markers, post it notes or highlighter tape,
• students should come prepared with the cuff and leg of the sock knit and ready to begin the heel flap
