All the designs have been inspired by Anna Johanna’s youth at the turn of the millennium, sprinkling the modern knits with a dash of nostalgia.
“Spend a bit of time with me reminiscing, get lost in your own memories and knit new ones into the stitches on your needles. That is what knits do, after all — carry memories with them.”
Anna Johanna is a knitwear designer from Jyväskylä, Central Finland. She is known for her often-romantic knits with much love for details, textures and colours. On a whim I decided to makes a sweater that called for lace weight yarn containing mohair so it had a nice halo. I don't care for the feel of mohair so I was thrilled to find Cumulus in stock in this gorgeous purple. The halo is lovely and the alpaca is much softer on my skin than mohair. I'm still swatching, can't wait to get started on the sweater for real!
Such knowledgeable staff. Able to answer all questions. Always a joy being in this yarn shoo.
I liked and used my first set so much, I bought this second set. Smooth and great colors.
My first time buying and using this type of yarn. Very lovely. Cant wait to get more.
Very nice color. Looking forward to working it into the sweater I’m knitting.
