Our newest collection, My Fair Isle Journeyis a collaborative pattern book with long-time friend and Fair Isle knitting instructor, Yuco Sakamoto. Yuco has spent 25 years mastering and teaching Fair Isle knitting and has taught these techniques in various knitting classes including at Walnut Kyoto and Tokyo. For this collection, she designed two sweaters, three cardigans, three vests, and four accessories, all using traditional Fair Isle techniques.

In addition to twelve knitting patterns, the book includes an overview of the basic techniques for Fair Isle to get you started, an essay by Yuco, and photos taken on location from the Shetland Islands.
