What fiber is it, and where does it come from?

How do I care for it?

Hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry, and take care not to mix bright reds with whites in the same wash to avoid color runoff. To block, mist with a spray bottle of ice cold water, shape, and lay flat to dry.

Since it is hand-dyed, should I buy extra or alternate skeins?

Yes, hand dyed skeins can vary slightly from dye lot to dye lot, so for a larger project like a sweater we recommend buying enough from the same lot when you can, or alternating skeins every couple of rows to blend any subtle variation.
