Join us to make your first hat! The Garter Rim Beanie is a great hat to learn the basics of knitting a hat. This could be a great second class after taking our Learn to Knit class. This class meets for two sessions of two hours. The instructor is Sara.
Students should already know: knit stitch and cast on.
Skills covered: long tail cast on, purl stitch, joining and knitting in the round, using circular needles, using double pointed needles, decreases. Pattern will be provided.
Materials required but not included:
- 100 yds of worsted weight yarn
- US 7, 16" circular needles
- US 7 double pointed needle set
- tapestry needle
We ask that you purchase class supplies at our shop. As a thank you for taking a class with us, we offer 10% off supplies for class as well as on purchases made on class days.
For refund of class fees, we require 24 hours notice before the date of the class of cancelation.
