Simplified Soldotna Crop: A Colorwork Sweater Class

Join us for a fun colorwork sweater class! The Soldotna Crop has been knit thousands of times by knitters across the globe, and in this class Hadley will guide you through a simplified yoke to jump right into the colorwork fun.
Wear it alone or layer over a long sleeve shirt and you are sure to be fashionable and cozy through our mild San Diego springtime. We can’t wait to see you for this fun and fast-paced class!

As with any sized garment, gauge is important! Students must create swatch(es) prior to class and come prepared to cast on with the yarn and
needles necessary to meet gauge. Students should be proficient in the basics of knitting (comfortable knitting, purling, working in the round, and following written directions) before taking the class.

• Meets for 3 sessions, 2 hours each session
• Topics taught in class: basic sweater construction, basic colorwork, finishing and care
• Materials: yarn and needles to meet gauge (see pattern for information), pattern, stitch markers, darning needle, waste yarn

We ask that you purchase materials for the class from our shop. You will receive a 10% discount on your materials for class as well as on purchases made the day of class.

For refund of class fees, we require 24 hours notice of cancellation before the date of the class.
