100% superwash fine merino, 95 yards
Ewe Ewe Wooly Worsted is a soft and springy wool yarn made from 100% superwash merino. It’s smooth, easy to work with, and the very first yarn line Heather of Ewe Ewe Yarns started her company with. She wanted to design an everyday workhorse yarn that felt completely luxurious in your hands while you knit and blissfully soft against your skin when you wear it.
Mix & match colors and stripes in a sweater like the Holger by Petiteknit using Wooly Worsted, available in child, adult, and cardigan editions.
Orders ship in 2 to 3 business days. Shipping is free on orders of $75 or more within the U.S.

Yes! When you use a machine to wash items made from 100% superwash wool, use a gentle cycle and cold water for the lowest risk of unwanted shrinkage, to be safe. Superwash wool is better at resisting felting, but not always immune to it, so we recommend laying your superwash wool pieces flat to dry.
Yes, and this yarn is the one we always use for our learn to knit class! The smooth twist and soft feel make it easy to love, and the superwash wool makes it easy to care for. There are many color options to choose from, and there are so many worsted weight or medium weight sweater designs to choose from.
Yes, three: the Softly Striped Baby Blanket Knitting Kit, the Effortless Mitts Knitting Kit and the Rainbow Scarf Knitting Kit. Each one includes both the yarn and a printed copy of the pattern.
We carry 25 colors of Wooly Worsted! The wide color range and the smaller (50g, 95yd) skeins make this a frequent choice for colorwork projects.
Referencing your pattern and your desired size & gauge is the best way to ensure you will have enough yarn! For a general example, knitting a 1-2 year size of the Antler Cardigan by Tin Can Knits calls for 425yd of a worsted weight yarn, or five skeins of Wooly Worsted. We have a sample of this cute kids’ cardigan in the shop.
We always recommend Ravelry as an all-encompassing pattern database in the shop. Many patterns on Ravelry estimate the yarn amount you will need for the size you are looking to make, but at Apricot Yarn & Supply, we can always offer advice if your pattern is unclear, you are working freehand, or something else!
