The Pro Takumi line is a step up from the original circular in many ways, and was engineered for a more discerning knitter! A rotating and softer cord avoids kinks and stiffness. An incredibly smooth, highly polished yet uncoated surface that feels wonderful. A gap-free, fuss-free joint for easy knitting. A color chip in the join offers quick visual reference to the length of the needle, and the size engraving has also been improved to be clearer and last longer. Tapered tips make it easier to stitch without splitting yarn. Still made with Clover's premium quality Takumi bamboo for superior density, form, and function. This a very well engineered needle, and we really enjoy knitting with these needles.
