Why Portuguese Wool Yarn Shines in Daily Wear
Rosa Pomar Vovó is a versatile, hard-wearing Portuguese wool yarn for daily garments.
It is non-superwash and spun from fine Portuguese wool, mainly Campaniça. Choose it for sweaters and cardigans that see regular wear.
Vovó comes from free-range sheep raised in Portugal.Mulesing is not practiced in Portugal, supporting animal welfare. This Portuguese wool yarn is grown, scoured, milled, and dyed in Portugal. Shades 01, 20, and 40 are undyed for natural depth.
Like all Rosa Pomar yarns, Vovó is non-superwash and not bleached.
Our Shelby Mitts pattern can be made with any color of Rosa Pomar Vovo yarn. The Shelby Mitts require one ball of Rosa Pomar Vovo yarn and US 4, 9" needles or double pointed needles.
