    Product Description

In this two-hour, hands-on workshop, Heather Walpole—owner of Ewe Ewe Yarns—will guide you through the basics of color theory as it applies specifically to knitting. You’ll learn why certain color combinations work so well together, how value and saturation affect your finished project, and how to confidently choose a main color with supporting shades. This class includes discussion, visual examples, and time to play with yarn and ask questions. You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of color and the confidence to apply it to future projects.

    Topics covered in class:

    • The color wheel and understanding color relationships
    • Complementary, split-complementary, and analogous color combinations
    • Value, contrast, and saturation
    • Applying color theory to real knitting patterns

    Materials:

    •  Printed worksheet provided
    • note taking items such as pens, pencils and notebook

Join us for a fun, confidence-building class all about choosing colors you love for your knitting projects. Color can feel intimidating, but with a few simple tools, it becomes one of the most joyful parts of the process.

We ask that you purchase materials for the class from our shop. You will receive a 10% discount on your materials for class as well as on purchases made the day of class.

For refund of class fees, we require 24 hours notice of cancellation before the date of the class.
