Local Yarn Store Day is an annual independent yarn shop appreciation day to celebrate fiber crafting arts and small businesses that bring so much woolly wonderfulness to the lives of fiber enthusiasts. The 2022 Local Yarn Store Day is officially April 30th, with many shops holding weekend-long events. Local Yarn Store Day is designed to support small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers, and spinners to drive awareness, celebrate the craft, and show appreciation to the shops that curate products and provide learning opportunities at the grassroots level across the country and the world. Vendors and retailers alike are coming together to showcase the benefits of locally-owned yarn stores through an array of special products, classes, and more!

Apricot Yarn & Supply will be open for in-store shopping, and an all-day hangout on Saturday, April 30, from 10 am-5 pm, and on Sunday, May 1, from 11 am-5 pm.
