Seven Oaks Ranch Alpaca yarn is locally grown in San Diego County. We love its undyed, natural colors as well as the weight and drape created when knit. Since 2018, we have purchased this beautiful small batch yarn from Seven Oaks Ranch, located in Jamul, CA, a short drive from our Liberty Station shop. Each year, fleece is trimmed in April and sent to be milled in Colorado. We are always excited to get the word that this year's yarn is ready. The animals are raised using organic feed and tender care.
Each purchase donates a percentage to San Diego Humane Society as a thank you for offering protection to the animals during wild fires.
