Product Description
The Illustrated Hat is a simple rib all over hat with a double brim that is created seamlessly as you knit the hat. The crown is shaped with rapid decreases to create a bit of a poof at the top. The inspiration came from a drawing of a dog wearing a hat. The pattern includes sizing for child, adult small and adult large.
The pattern is a digital download pattern delivered after check out by email.
- Needles required: US 5, 16” circular needles, US 5 DPNs
- Yarn recommendation: DK weight or light worsted wool yarn
- Amounts: 180yd, (230yd , 260 yds).
- Sizing: child: 16.75” cir & 8” h (adult: 18” cir & 8.5” h, adult: 19.5”cir & 9”h)
- Gauge: 26 sts in 3x1 rib (k3,p1)= 4 inch
- Tools recommended: ring markers, tapestry needle, row counter
