With Hadley’s simple recipe you’ll learn to make your new favorite socks: fun and easy to knit, and personalized to fit you perfectly. Whether you’re comfortable knitting traditional-style socks or you’ve never knit a pair in your life, this class will add two new tricks to your knitting toolkit. Instructor is Hadley
Meets for 3 sessions, 2 hours each session, in person at The Studio at Apricot Yarn & Supply.
Skill level: adventurous beginner and beyond (should be able to knit and purl)
Topics covered in class: magic loop, afterthought heel, directional decreases, Kitchener stitch
Materials needed for the class:
- 1 skein sock yarn of your choice (~100 grams),
- 32” circular needles sized to achieve desired fabric (start with US 1 or 2)
- darning needle
- waste yarn
- clasping stitch markers
- Pattern will be provided by instructor.
We ask that materials for the class are purchased at our shop. Mention your class sign up and receive 10% off your class materials.
For refund of class fees, we require 24 hours notice of cancelation before the date of the class.
